A few days later we had a hail storm in the middle of August. I have never experienced such a thing, so of course I ran and grabbed my camera. I didn't get great shots of the actual hail because I was afraid to go out side. However, I did manage to capture a couple of pictures of our front lawn with the chairs in the crazy weather.
While wondering in my Father's backyard I came across our old garden. It was filled with overgrown flowers reaching over my head. They weren't any special flowers I just liked the way the looked and how the sun was setting upon them.
Finally one Sunday afternoon my Grandparents came over to my Mother's house. I've mentioned before they are working on a play. In the play there will be slides of certain images my Grandmother wants to show. Since I am a photographer I've been helping quite a bit. My Grandmother wanted images of these certain garments. She choose the location of outside and when I was all done with the shots she wanted I took a couple for myself. The image below is a real leopard coat that belonged to my great great Grandmother. Seeing it displayed in a nature setting gives the picture bizarre look and feel to it, as if something doesn't belong.
I hope my nature themed post inspired you all to go out and enjoy the last remaining days of summer.
Enjoy!
