October 1st and 2nd there was a Native American Culture Festival at Hammonasset State Park in Madison Connecticut. The Festival included music, art, crafts, food, shops and museum demonstrations. When I arrived Sunday October Second the festival was just about to wrap up after their last dance performance. In their performance several Native Americans showed the viewers particular dances for specific events that would take place in their tribe while showing off their custom attire. It was a great learning experience as well as photo opportunity to educate and show others on another culture.
I hope these photos helped expose you to something new today.
Enjoy!
